- Game day posts and eventsHey team, Game day this weekend. Last opportunity for the lads to fine tune things for the nationals so the more people turn up the better it'll be. Will be a lot of hard fast competition style games so make sure to eat your weetbix. Gates open 0930.

Please post up if you are attending Gates open: 1830 Briefing: 1900 Game starts: 1930 Estimated finish: 2230 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwvd93OgAxA Overview: Operation tracer 2 will be a series of night game skirmishes focused around the village and the surrounding area. Operation 1: Attack and hold (this game will be played twice with teams swapping sides) Teams: Two even teams Objective: Hold the majority of the key buildings by the end off the match. Time Limit: 45mins There will be 3 buildings within the village that can be captured (church, general store and Communication building). There will be a pully with two glow sticks. You capture a building by raising your teams glow stick. Dead/spawn Rules. You can be mediced anywhere in the field except within the objective buildings (if you are hit while inside you must return to spawn). If you bleed out you must return anywhere along your teams road to spawn (no spawn time) Boundaries: The main roads are spawn locations. You can not advance past the last building in the village in the direction of the enemy spawn (try your best to not lover look the enemy spawn location. You may go as far east and west of the village as you wish. Operation 2: Advance and clear Teams: Even split Objective: Attackers are to clear and control the village from defenders. Defenders have dead is dead rules, Attackers will have medic rules or move back to spawn if they bleed out. Game is over when the defenders are all cleared out of the village. MEDIC/Dragging RULES We will be using our standard medic rules during the game. • Two hands on the person you are medicing and you must count out loud to 30. • before the medic counting starts or being dragged you must turn off your hit marker (as you are a valid target again) • If the person you are medicing or dragging is hit you are also hit Weapon/gear rules: All sub 1.13 joules. Machine guns with this joule limit ARE ALLOWED but will still adhere to a 10m engagement distance (so no room clearing pls). Machine guns will be required to have a tracer unit and said players will be expected to play a little extra safely. Pistols must be carried TRACER UNITS- Please bring a tracer unit if possible. It is not mandatory but it greatly enhances the game experience. NVG's are allow but must have a tracer unit. What you must bring: • All supplies you need for event (bb’s, batteries, water, eye pro, weapon etc) • Red light that has a constant flash setting (for hit marking, nothing too obscenely bright/area wise) • Naked white light. Used for combat & orientation What to expect/recommendations: • Full face protection. Its night, lights will be intermittently used. Armour up if you must • We WILL BE LOCKING THE GATE in order to do a head count and make sure we haven't lost anybody. If you absolutely must leave for an emergency, let a committee member know. • Weather appropriate clothing.
